Welcome to The Painted Chick

The Painted Chick has only been a "thing" for about a year, but what a year it has been.  During that time I have been creating one of a kind, often eclectic items that are meant to evoke a visual "twang" to get your own creative juices flowing.  Color is important--one of my favorite quotes is from Matisse:  :"With color one obtains an energy that seems to stem from witchcraft."; emotion is equally important, from the mesmerizing tranquility of pours, to the inner-child playfulness of my fantasy creations; and of course, texture....I want people to not be afraid to touch and feel...because, of course, that is what one must do in life. Each piece will speak to people differently, but I hope will fill a spot in your soul to make you happy.  Enjoy, and welcome to my world.
